You mention the Chalin Valog runs, do you get off gondola half way up or find it from Shiligarnika? what sort of steepness, we are pretty handy on Austrian reds but not blacks, as snowboarders might we find it fun, snow permitting mid March, cheers.

You can get off gondola at half station. There is a track down from Shiligarnika , but this was pisted 2 yrs ago and was a lovely quiet run down, but wasn't pisted last year. we managed to ski it but bashed the skis about a bit. Should be ok with the snow cover this year.

Joe - more directions to Chalin Valog- ski down - sorry walk or board down run 12(strajite)-brings you to a bridge just below a chairlift station - carry on down to gondola half station. Hope this helps, although my husbands just commented that with my navigational skills you're probably going to end up in Milton Keynes!!!!

Many thanks, hope we have enough of the white stuff and if I end up in Milton Keynes evan better, they have snowdome?
