wanted to contact you direct but dont reckon that mails right as we are in the process of building some chalets i would be most interested to hear your pros and cons with regard to your recent experiences,

I suspect you might not encounter the same problems we are! something about party and brewery comes to mind, and of course there are a lot of vested interests shall we say.
Otherwise the exercise is proving good fun, loads of research and im actually designing the chalets now on a cad system, bit differant to anything ive done before and all buildings in BG have to conform to 'earthquake proof' rules, but we are hoping to have the first chalet up and running for next year

Sounds really interesting. We have the same set of rules re earthquakes being on the PRF.
Seems like there is not the red tape in NZ that you tend to encounter in Europe.
I'll be keen to hear how you get on as time goes on.

Well they do in Greece and Turkey both next door so I suppose Bg could have the odd rattle as well!
