We hope all is well
Geri, Donika and myself all say a big HI to you.
So, we have found out that the lift in Chepelare may not run this season, due to funding from the company's that own the lift.
They say, the lift is not a good investment.????
Do you know what is going on with the resort, or can you ask some questions about this for us.
I have asked the mother in law to try and find out what is going on, but all she said is, that all is well with the resort. But there is a problem with the lift this year. She is not sure if the lift will run.
Pete, put the spy's out and please find out what is going on.
By the way, we are going for 1 week from the 11 feb and staying in the Rhodopi home in Chepelare.
We hope to see you this year for a good run or two.

Hi mate - good to hear from you.

All that is news to me and I've seen nothing to confirm this in any of the local Bulgarian newspapers.

I would be amazed if this were true as they have not long spent a lot of money upgrading the lifts in Chepelare so to not open them would have a major effect on the area economy and outrage from those who have invested in property in the area.

I know there were some major fall outs last season between staff, management and owners in Chepelare but as far as I know it was all resolved.

Sadly we'll miss you again as we don't go until early March. 12 of us staying at the Markony including 4 newbies so really looking forward to another great week.

Will keep my ear to the ground and speak to Marco who's brother was head of ski school in Chepalare last year. If he doesn't know nobody will!
