re: forest nook 3

I have a villa at Forest Nook 1 (just in case you're wondering about my tag) so I am happy to point you in the right direction squire. Booze

About a 5 minute drive from the centre of Pamps.
If you head out of Pamps on the main road towards Smolyan, Go past the Monastery and Studenets, head about 1/2 KM on that road after Studenets at FN3 is on your right.

I have my daughter and girlfriend with me (so no forest nooky for me !) where would you suggest we eat or is there a supermarket nearby so we can self cater.

Also have you heard of the ski school mirone.

re: forest nook 3

NO FOREST NOOKY!!! You have my sympathies Andy.

Nearest (small) supermarket is at the Castle selling essentials like bread, milk, eggs, beer and beans Question Wink, heading back from the apartments towards Pamps, I hear the Castle has a good inexpensive restaurant too. Arron can tell you more if he's reading this as that's his manor Razz

However if you need to the Forest Nook site management will take you into town and back for about Euro 5 per person so you could go to the bigger supermarket ...

There's the forest Nook restaurant at Forest Nook village which is much cheaper than in central Pamps and good quality. Head out of the apartments to taking a left towards Smolyan and then take a left at the Forest Nook 1 sign. Head down the forest road for about 1km and you'll see Forest Nook Village lit up, the restaurant is on your right. I reckon the site managers would pick you up for free if you're using the restaurant from FN apartments as the village is not too far away. Worth a try Confused

Not heard of the Ski school but I always use interski or the snowshack guys (I'm a boarder) Smile

Hi Andy

We use Mirone ski school for lessons + equipment (FN developers know Mirone personally). They are based at Studenets (get skis etc from depot under The Ranch restaurant at the bottom of the green run). We had one instructor for the 3 of us which although being more expensive than a package deal meant we progressed quicker than most + wasnt too expensive.
Ref supermarkets if you have a car (or rent one of the FN Jeeps - 25 Euro a day) get yourself to Smolyan for lots of v cheap ...

Nooky - heading out on the 15th or 16th so will probably miss you but may see you in the summer!

Andy

Its at the Studenets ski station - about 4/5 minutes drive from the apartments. They will run a bus to and from the slopes for you.
