A while ago, I posted asking for advice about ski gloves and was advised to get mittens rather than gloves. Well .. I bought some and went to Xcape today to road test them. Fingers stayed toasty warm (usually numb after 15 mins) - fantastic! So, whoever posted that piece of advice THANKS!
So am I. You cannot imagine what a difference this will make! Oh, and I was also worried that I'd have forgotten how to ski. Well ... I haven't, so whoever said it was like riding a bike ... YOU WERE RIGHT !
Xcape is a lot warmer than the slopes of BG, will your road tested gloves keep your fingers warm when there is a 25 mph wind blowing up the slope, im not knocking your gloves, but you dont get wind chill factor at a inside 'real' snow slope
and yes i have been there
I find mits are a pain as I am always rooting around in pockets, so they are on and off all the time, two Items worth spending money on good gloves/mits and good socks..Nothing worse than being cold on the slopes.
