Hi everyone.
Does anyone have any idea if those of us flying in and out of bg. from Feb 1st will have to pay the new extra plane fuel tax? ( we tried a search and couldn't find any previous posts on the site) We are flying back on the 2nd and were wondering if we should contact the tour company or airline to see if bg. flights are included in the tax. Although if we weren't allowed to return home due to non payment of extra tax bill prior to leaving the UK we don't feel this would be ...

As I understand from another forum, Easyjet have started emailing their passengers asking for an additional tax in relation to this new tax - honest.re: fuel tax

can confirm.....letters from agents have gone out.....re: fuel tax
Check with your tour operator.. The tax is on out bound flights and only comes in to play on the 1st of Feb. If you fly out before then but return after the 1st you will not have to pay.re: fuel tax
