Not to bad for a half term Of course there was our suggestion to Ulen to open at 07.30am ? but i suppose we should be thankful (Ooooooooooo Ulen, we are sooooooooooo thankful ) for them opening at 08.00am.. surprised its not back to 08.30am, think of all the extra wages (2 lv per hour)......
I do love our ski concessionaire (read post re. food on mountain )
The queue was just outside the doors at 08.40hrs. It will get busier as week goes on but lets not spread rubbish of long queues. maybe from 9 onwards the queues were gathering but certainly not at 08.40 when the queue was at the door. It is half term, it is always the same why moan when you know its gonna happen. Ulen have tried to make class timings different also to help this by starting at 9, 11 and 1pm. Instead of all classes starting at 10am.
Smart move given the 7-14 days of the entire season where queue's are a problem open 1-2hours early.
People will likely spend more on the mountain too an extra drink etc as you have the option for a longer day.
I'm not sure where its 90 mins wait... when we went during half term as you say the queue was back to the road/Kempinski. We'd arrive 8-8.15am not one day were we not on the snow after 9.15am infact most days we were 9am on the snow.
Why dont Ulen have the ski lessons down ...

Why dont Ulen have the ski lessons down the ski road? much less busy and ideal for total novices (plus it has that nightmare black which goes under the gondela).
