I never used to be a fan of goggles until i bought a good pair with double lens, now i always wear goggles!! if your goggles do get steamed up just rub a bit of washing up liquid/ liquid soap on the inside- this provides a film and they dont get steamed up!!!
buy double lense to begin with, I bought single last year and had to upgrade this year to double due to bad visibility.... to be honest though the goggles in the resorts are really good value so you could hang on and get some when you get there - but def.... double lense
