re: goggles or shades?

Take both, Then you'll be equipped for any eventuallity. I ended up using goggles all week as it snowed, And boarders aren't as much victims of fashion as skiers anyway

re: goggles or shades?

Just got back from Borovets and found goggles best but surely it doesn't take much space to pack both just in case. Even the hardened shades lovers in our group were wearing goggles by the end of the week. I found they steamed up less. They were also warmer when it was really cold with wind and snow at the top of the gondola (we stupidly went up at 4pm and could hardly see the edge of the run!)
