reading all this info that its snowing in borovets constantly, it best to go for goggles or shades now? prefer shades but the functionality o goggles is better, any ideas? or just take both
Take both, Then you'll be equipped for any eventuallity. I ended up using goggles all week as it snowed, And boarders aren't as much victims of fashion as skiers anyway
Just got back from Borovets and found goggles best but surely it doesn't take much space to pack both just in case. Even the hardened shades lovers in our group were wearing goggles by the end of the week. I found they steamed up less. They were also warmer when it was really cold with wind and snow at the top of the gondola (we stupidly went up at 4pm and could hardly see the edge of the run!)
im unfortunately a skier and fall into that fashion victim motif' u speak of
will turn to the dark side when i get back tho, had a go on one of those skateboard things wivout the bindings, completely different feeling balance wise, especially when falling on dry mat whole other meaning of pain
thanx for the info peeps and probs see some of ya there, the milky bars will be on me
Have just got back from Borovets,we didn't see the sun all week but definately take goggles',if nothing else they'll help to keep your face warm!Have a great time.
