we're going 5th march too to borovets for third time and as usual am getting nervy about the snow! we're flying from gatwick and staying at the iglika. we have 2 first time boarders in the school and two intermediates and one dodgy skiier!

Hi just got back from the Rila today it hasnt snowed for afew days but still plenty of snow which is turned overnight. I really enjoyed it my girlfriend is a novice she spent most of her time at the end of the green slope near the pull lift, the ground is very hard there shes got some massive brusing to her bum and knees from falling,,its seriously worth considering pads if your new to a board !!

I also found you need to watch how much change your getting from bars etc the prices vary so much it can be 4leva for two cups of coffee then 8 at the next place yes its cheap but why pay twice as much?? We changed a TC at the hotel (it was 10 Lev short)
thanks all for your replys we are going to the samakov and flying out from manchester. we are 3 first timers and 1 ok getting very nervous now though!!!!! hope to see some of you there . we are also going with neilson if anyone else is going with them?
