going to Pamps this week- need some info

I\'m off to Pamps this weekend with the missus and I just need a few bits of info.
I\'ve heard the best way to bring money is hard cash. Where can I get it changed and does anyone know where has the best rates?
Also we\'ll be getting there about 8pm (transport permitting). Will any shops still be open to buy goggles, knee pads etc, or should I get them in u.k.?
And last but definitely not least, how\'s the snow conditions?
Can\'t wait to go now and for anyone there next week. ...

Have fun everyone

Most of the shops are open till about 9.30pm, so you can get them when you arrive, however some of the shops on the slopes are cheaper!

Take clean sterling notes, as they don't like them too marked! exchange in hotel receptions, or once you get to know some of the instructors/staff, most will change money for a better rate than in the change booths!

Previous reports from people back last weekend, have said lots of snow fell last week!

Snow is fab, got back saturday. Hotel Zora was doing 2.7. Mrs BFT bought new goggles, about £22. Same ones back home 40 in the sale, reduced from 60Exclamation

Have a great time

if you are booked in snowboard school, I have heard differing reports, although the Snowshack boys are excellent, Gary and Ted et al are brilliant!

Hi there,

We stayed in Pamps last week, and I was not impressed with the boarding tuition at all, he was consistently late, hung over and although a great boarder was not a great instructor! Saying that though all the guys who were in the beignners class (I was in an advanced) were well chuffed with their instructor - all depends on the luck of the draw I suppose. Have a great time though Very Happy
