You might find goggles restrict your view a little shop around to find some you like, or my hubby has some Adidas sunnies where you can change the lenses dependent on the conditions, and they have an elasticated strap like goggles, but aren't as bulky.
First time boarding over new year. Bought my gear incl goggles from TKMaxx (& by the way I'm devastated it closing down!) First run on a proper slope i.e. not nursery slope, sun was shining & they were fine. Next day went up top for first time (this is boro btw) & it was snowing & overcast. Could not see a thing with them on & got snow in my eyes w/o and same wearing sunnies. Totally knocked all the confidence I had gained during the week out of me. Very disappionted. Guess you need goggles ...

Both googles for realy bad weather. Sun glasses for when it is nice. I bought a pair of sunglasses/googles, they are kind of in between both. I have a problem with the wind in my eyes and making my contacts move around and eyes run, found these sun glass things on the internet around £40, only time I need googles now is if there is really bad weather.
