Ive tried to catch up on anything ive missed over the last few days, and i think that the new style board is going to be a nightmare come the winter if you miss a few days!! Anyway, i picked up on a few things, and im not going to bore you with all the news about the chalet except to say.... , it is going to be the best accomodation bar none!! ive finally managed to get british building practices to BG (after many discussions and many more ). Number one, stayed in the Samokov Hotel this time, and strick me down theyve been and refurbed the rooms, new jazzy halogen lights new (brown and boring) furniture and chairs etc, new baths although they still move when youre haveing a shower, new showers/taps/etc, i even had a mini bar, but it seems these will be removed during the season as apparently some tourists are dishonest and rob them just before leaving . Number two , some sneaky so and so is building 175 apartments next to the 'Flora Hotel' these are mostly presold ranging from about 75-100k, and are due for competion by about december. Number three, the new hotel on the slopes, ive explainde this before, but it seems there may be small money problems as building work is not finished and very slow at the moment. Number whatever, they were taking the ice rink down, an english bloke has bought the 'Katina' (own up pp) the Rila hasnt been upgraded and needs it, there is more building going on behind the 'Ela' possible more apartments, oh and the rumour is that the 'golden triangle' thats from peters kareoke, up to the rila turn right and all that land in there is going to be flattened within the next couple of years and be redeveloped as part of the new project, oh and nearly forgot a new run from bottom of the avalanche down the valley in to the resort will be ready for this year, ti will be 12+km long and be green/blue, so that everyone will be able to ski back to the resort..........ill fill in more when i remeber...bye bye all
