we were managing the long green rub in 20 mins(1and a half hours the first time) doing red runs by day three and just managing to come down black run by last day without accidents. had a brilliant time and realy enjoyed the off piste runs through the trees, learnt to duck fast.lol.
we are all booked up for next year already and cant wait,i know we will see lots of nice people we met this year, and hope to have the same instructor again.
please share your experiences as i would love to hear others views
see you all on the slopes or in the bar xxxxxxxx amy and steve
Best friend of mine is ski instructor and the gradings changed last year. All 1st time skiers got grade A. but now are also given 1 to 3 . so be proud of yourself grade 3 is excellent. I know 2 nikki`s... 1 in their 20`s the other 40 plus. which did u have? I have been twice this year the 1st to visit my friend n my on and the
2nd with hubby and kids....... brilliant
Just got back on Saturday from Pamps and hadn't really thought about the gradings until I saw this posting. I got an A1, and I think everyone in Margo's class did. Didn't think of asking if this was good or bad, just know that we were doing green runs (6 & 7) at the start of day 3, and some of the blues on day 5. I was impressed with the instruction we received, but was also lucky to have people in the group who really had come to learn to ski, and not just to 'give it a go'
Think Margo gives A1 grades to everybody in her group. We had 2 folk in our group who were excellent and were doing blacks and parallel turning etc by day 4 and they got A1`s. Looked as though they`d skied for years.
Id give margo a A+ for her pole dancing mind-the last night in BJ`s she was wild- like a drink fuelled nympho swinging roun the champs pole!! Not complaining though Hope she`s there next year! Im hungary for more
