group of 10 going to Bansko

Hi Everyone

There are 10 of us getting v excited about going to Bankso this Friday for a week. Couple of v quick questions:

with 10 of us should we book restaurants in advance or can they cater for those numbers if you just turn up? Have been once before and was lovin the mehana's in the old town so will be aiming there as much as poss.

Also - how's the snow? was looking pretty good on ski sunday!

Stu whats the crack with the Mehanas - we're going out in 2 weeks and last time I just ate at the hotel HB but for boozy nights do you recommend going to the Mehanas to get loaded? How far are they from the Hotel Lion?

11 of us went out over Christmas and the only time we had to book a table was on Christmas Eve (for obvious reasons). Whenever we went 'on a limb' to any of the mehanas, they were pretty accommodating! You really shouldn't have any problems in finding a place to eat, especially this time of the season.

Stew - not sure where the Hotel Lion is, but the old town is pretty much walking distance from most of Bansko; and certainly stumbling distance from a mehana!

We are heading out to bansko on sunday for a week, not been to bankso before but looking fwd to it... see you out there...read the thread about the bankso food ... pretty useful.. where are you staying ..we are in the stazhite, there are four of us !

There is 3 of us heading out this saturday for a week, looks like 11cm snow due this friday so hopefully perfect conditions. Staying in the Perun

sweet, not had a look at the forecasts as the snow looks pretty good anyway, have you been to bansko before craig? are you skiers or boarders then?

there was a bit of fresh this morning too, happy days !!
next week will be fairly quiet so most mehana's will fit you in no worries, make sure you try 'dedo pene' by the church, its great
