looking to book bansko w/c 22nd feb any one know when school half terms are looking to avoid gondola queue our local half term is 15th feb thanks

Well for my area there seems to be 2 weeks the first 15/2 for most schools and then the 22/2
Private schools will be a blend of before & after those dates - also you need to think about the half term in Germany/Denmark/Ireland/Russia/Bulgaria/Greece

I have been peak season before in Feb (UK half term) and from what I saw/heard I'd say 20% would be a huge overestimate of UK visiters. Queue's were fine - we'd be there for 8;10-15am every morning and be near the wooden ski huts but the queue goes quickly and not once were we on the slopes after 9am.
I believe Xmas/New years is manic with 4-5 hour queue's

In Germany just 2 parts, have winter holidays in this period, but it is a much smaller number of guest from germany in winter season, as from UK. The most guests come from Russia in the last years.Sune
