hand luggage

Hi i havent been on a plane since all the new laws came in, so could u tell me what i can take on the plane, what about the clear bag thing , what goes in there.

there were talks of it all being relaxed a couple of months ago so might be worth checking, basically you can carry on up to 1 litre of liquid brocken down into 100ml bottles if the bottle is larger and opened with half used this cant go on, all bottle must be in a clear plastic bag. but if its 100ml of perfume and open I have never had any problems, basically put all your liquids in main hold lug.

but check as this may have been relaxed

I think you will find the rules are still in place about liquids as I travelled recently and this was so. I checked on this site - see link below (soz not sure how to post it as proper link) and this was updated in November - says it still same rules....

do not put any perfume or creams in hand luggage, seen so many women gutted when they have to throw them away...

Still not relaxed and they are very strict to the point of being anal. Going through Luton this year I had 1 small bag and my video camera over my shoulder. Guess what I had to put the video camera in my bag just to walk through security only to take it out again on the other side!! Petty minded jobsworths springs to mind!

in Stanstead we had gone through security and them at the next cornor got pulled over and made to take off our shoes and put them through a different xray machine, I know why they are doing it but i am sure before long everyone will have to pass through an MRI scanner before getting on the plane.
