re: happy duck

Now, forgive me if I'm wrong because I went to Pamporovo last year, but I seem to recall its opposite the Samokov Hotel (well, a little to the left but more or less opposite).

Happy Duck is nice but personally I'd take the missus to Katy's for a Valentines meal.

Not disrespecting the HD, its more of a pub-food place (and a good one at that) whilst Katy's is more of a restaurant. You'll have a great time no matter what you choose though.

re: happy duck

erm, turn right out of the Happy Duck, walk up the main street for a bit, its a big place on your right.

Don't worry everything in Boro is very very close together, the first time you walk down the street you'll spot all these places. The Tour Operator may even give you a town map with some bars and places marked on it. (or there may even be one on this site or via google?)

If I find one I'll post it here

re: happy duck

we stayed in the rila at xmas time so i know where basic things are
so is it somewhere in between the rila and samokov-or is it the main drag up from the gondola station?

re: happy duck

Katys is on the main street between the samokov and the new appartment block on the opposite side of the road near the small supermarket
