it was very icy yesterday, very windy too, so the top was shut most of the day. So the pistes working were very busy.
there seems to be many people skiing too fast for their ability as well, which is crazy when it is busy.
It was very cold overnight though Dave you cant always have soft pistes in -15 conditions. Looks like the top is shut again with very high winds up there.
Was -10 down here in Draglishte this morning so Im guesing was very cold up there last night again so maybe icy and hard packed again today until the sun does its work by midday.
thursday it was raining below the gondola, and wet snow above, with extremely strong winds causing everything above the gondola except the 6 man chair to be closed, and the gondola running at what felt like a snails pace which sort of ruined the day for me, and the bottom slopes were in awful conditions (still fully covered in snow though)... but with the temperature suddenly dropping thursday night, it led to really compact and slightly icy pistes on friday, which in my opinion was the best ...

By the end of friday there were a few really icy patches, and a few small bits of mud and grass showing through in places. On the whole an excellent week, with temperatures being colder than expected/forecasted.
