Someone posted earlier today re: heli ski etc it is true i found where i read it. Its at the bottom of the page on the home board but hers the info anyway
• 'HELI-SKI'- the resorts offers transportation to the rough ski runs by helicopter. You can ski on unprocessed terrains escorted by qualified ski instructors
• 'VIEW FLY'-Flight by helicopter above the Borovets area, so you can view & enjoy the beautiful nature of the Rila mountain
• 'HELI-TRANSPORTATION' by helicopter from ...

yes but as said in the post where the man asked about thisits a none starter it seems as they advertise it but no one has been able to say yes they have done it and no one has seen a heli - ski thing in boro

Hi, its a bit like the ice rink, saw it advertised recently in the resort of Boro, but apparantly this season, its a block of apartments!!!!re: heli ski
yeah the icerink only went recently thoughwas enjoyed by many though so its shame and at least peeps got to do the ice skating

I bumped into a machine yesterday while skiing Yastrebets.The mean machine is called "Snow Safari".
I enquired about the service and this is the info I got if anyone is interested.
From the top of the gondola they will drive you to the summit of Mussala for 40 lv per person.
The snow safari is a machine that looks similar to a groomer with seats at the rear with ski rack at the back.
Could be worth the experience.
I am looking into the idea myself !!!.

So do they drop you off and you ski back with an instructor?re: heli ski
Yeah,They drop you off but I get the impression your on your own.My advise, if you haven't been up that way, is to hire an instructor for the day or someone who knows the area.
