How much do they charge in Boro to hire a helmet? Im def gona wear one this year just want to know rough cost.

Better, and probably cheaper, buying one in the UK before you go. Some guys here have mentioned Lidl and I got a good bargain in TKMaxx a few years back (but have replaced it with a better one)
