help re boots

Some time ago several people gave advice to someone who had difficult to fit feet! I have tried searching but cant find the thread. My sister who is an experienced skiier and who's old faithfulls are no more, is having trouble getting boots that dont hurt her and would really appreciate advice re where to go for expert and sound help. I told her this forum would come up trumps!
Happy Xmas to you all.

re: help re boots

There is a ski shop near Southampton. A freind of ours from Bulgaria works there and he is very good at fitting boots. His name is Marco. The shops web address is below.

re: help re boots

No idea where abouts you live but one of the best and most reputable boot fitters in the UK is Lockwoods of Leamington Spa (near Warwick). Really good service, experienced staff and terrific post sales service as well.

Another recommendation goes to see Colin Martin here...

Colin is one of the few certified Pedorthists in the UK. They dont sell boots themselves but they have access to a number of boot shops in the local area (Bicester) and they will assess feet, make recommendations for boot model and size etc and make any fitting modifications that might be required.

Both have very high reputations and come highly recommended.
