re: help

If it your first time and you are in lessons theni would not think that you will need a helmet.

i would get somthing warm on you back side and about two layers of cloths then a jacket.

also good gloves. I say all this because in lessons you will have to sit and wait your turn.

ho one more thing that is the main item you should never be with out a hip flask, a good size.

re: help

no dont take that advice, skis are for the old fogies, yes good gloves, a good pair of boarding pants, jacket, and layers count but if you are like me I get so hot its just a long sleeve top no helmet, you wont be going that fast so early, then if you progress well you could always get one, the hip flask is a must!!!! keep an open mind to it too, as some people expect to strap a board on and after a few lessons youll be flyin, it wont be that way, just take your time and your stuff will come ...

re: help

As silly as it sounds ask your instructor how to fall, and do what he says! Sounds daft but your natural reflexes can be painful Confused

If it's your first time and your after some serious AIR a decent insurance policy might be useful Very Happy Like noddles says don't expect to strap the board on and be flying on the first day, especially if it is icy !!!!!!

Have fun, you'll love it.
