Hi
The three of us are 'newbies' to skiing. Borovets in mid February. We have had four weeks of 1 1/2 hour lessons at dry slopes. Yes it is different to snow, but learning the basics gives you a head start once you get out there. Basic manoeuvres like side stepping up the slope, snowploughing, stopping, linking turns, using the button lift. We a pleased we had the instruction. Can't wait to do it for real, with more instruction of course once there
hello lloydy. You'l lbe fine, just don't try to run any snowballs over in your skiis as they are normally ice balls!! really looking forward to it with all of you. see you tomorrow night.
Dont worry lloydy. If you are off to Pamps go up the 3 men chair lift on the first day and then go down 'The Wall'. Ha Ha. Just a joke man. Dont worry all bulgarian instructors are great. And learning to ski its fun in itself. Good luck.
I board not ski but they best advice I can give is ask your instructor how to fall. Sounds silly but it isn't. I didn't listen and nearly put both shoulders out at the same time. When I too his advice no problems but a few bruises rather than broken bones.
I won't try and tell you the detail I leave that to the experts.
