hiring a car and parking in borovets

Hi

has anyone ever hired a car for borovets and if so what is the parking situation like? do you think it is worth hiring a car, we are staying 10 to 15mins outside of borovets so we thought it may be easier?

any help would be gratefully recieved

we are coming to borovets on the 26th feb for ten days cant wait, praying for powder! (yes we are boarders!)

Its better than walking / cheap in the long run than taxis and gives you freedom to rome

There's a car park outside the gondola station, but be careful what you're charged. Otherwise, there's various places to park in the street.Definitely worth it if you're in one of the outlying villages.
