re: holiday insurance

We bought an annual policy with full worldwide and winter sports cover from Direct Line. The total cost was £107 for two of us, It's worth considering if you travel a few times a year - and Direct Line are good if you need to claim - we've used them before.

re: holiday insurance

We're covered for personal possessions, so yes. In the past, I've claimed for a watch - it fell off my wrist in the supermarket and I didn't realise it was missing till ages later. I'd no receipt for it, but they replaced it anyway - and I didn't need an excuse. My son also jumped into a swimming pool with his mobile in his pocket (too many sangrias) and the insurance paid out for that too.
