hornster & benson

for those of you still going to BG,(not me) and getting depressed / stressed about weather and not sure about benson or hornsters forecast check out the following link..if its cold and snowy here... its gonna be double higher up...

if you going on the 20th...your first couple of days look poor...then....relax sit back.

That forcast is brill, hope it is correct. Just put a mega smile on my face. Maybe need a few pair of thermals at this rate!!!

Are you saying that you now believe me and Benson and that we don't just make these things up?

By the way, todays models are saying that the snow will arrive between the 22 -24th Jan.

www.accuweather.com is probably the one "tourist" weather site that is half decent and fairly reliable - not nearly as accurate as the professional weather models and charts, but as good as a "tourist" can expect.

never said I didnt believe you...!!. still dont think that the skiing 20th - 27th will be much good...its never nice getting a face full of now even if the lifts are open... those going on 27th and after look sorted..

I think winter starts here...on the 22nd...exactly a week after the US started its 'seasonal' norm... its just plain physics!!..

I was only kidding about not believing us and I could agree with you more - skiing in blizzard conditions are never much fun. It was only luck that I booked for the week commencing 27th January back on July. How happy am I!!

Eeeek - are blizzard conditions what we can expect in Bansko from the 22nd?
This is an emtional rollercoaster - from desperate and depressed -to elated - to back to desperate.
I thought that being used to weather dependant sports (paragliding & gliding) I'd not be freaked out by the whole reliance on the weather gods situation - but I am !
