Flying out to Borovets on Boxing Day and staying at Hotel Ela anybody else stayed there, whats it like? Hubby dosn't know yet. he will get to find out on boxing day.

Great idea - I did the same or my family th other year but they had to wait until Feb half term!

It is very central and just a few minutes down the road from the Gondola station. there is also a ski depot there. The chaps in that one are really miserable and you will have great fun trying to make them laugh just by being happy. I thought that was great fun!!

Great surprise, I'm hoping to get loads of boarding gifts on Santa day for my travels, which is also Boxing day, Im staying in Hotel Bor, which I believe is further down the road (away from everything)Tom

Stayed there in Feb this year. Cheap, cheerful and pretty much what you'd expect of Bulgaria. Two cracking barmaids at the bar though and a nice bar area to boot. re: hotel Ela
