Flying out to Borovets on Boxing Day and staying at Hotel Ela anybody else stayed there, whats it like? Hubby dosn't know yet. he will get to find out on boxing day.

It is very central and just a few minutes down the road from the Gondola station. there is also a ski depot there. The chaps in that one are really miserable and you will have great fun trying to make them laugh just by being happy. I thought that was great fun!!

The Inghams kindergarten use the Hotel Ela so we did go inside - beware the very slippy front door step! I remember it being warm and comfortable in the public areas.
Thanks nice to know, never been to borovets before always pamporovo thought we could just get another week in, never seem to hav eenough leave left after end of Jan!!
Great surprise, I'm hoping to get loads of boarding gifts on Santa day for my travels, which is also Boxing day, Im staying in Hotel Bor, which I believe is further down the road (away from everything)
Stayed there in Feb this year. Cheap, cheerful and pretty much what you'd expect of Bulgaria. Two cracking barmaids at the bar though and a nice bar area to boot.
