hotel and dates for Bansko

I'm looking to book Bansko for Feb/March 06 and i'm just after a bit of advice before i jump in.
I'm looking at either Hotel Strazhite or Hotel Pirin, which would be better, I've been to Pamporovo before and ate out every day so not too fussed about food but location is important, I like to party so need to be near where it's at.
Also I know that there are national holidys in Bulgaria around Feb/March, does anyone know when this will be next year as hour long wsita for the lifts do not a ...

March 3rd is liberation day, think thats a fri next year so expect that weekend to be very busy!
Hotel Pirin is right in the town centre, near to all the clubs, Hotel Strazhite is opposite the lion bar and nearer to the lifts, but only 5 - 10 minutes walk from all the action and probably nearer to at lot of mehanas
I've never stayed in either hotel, but the Strazhite has only been open 2 years whereas the Pirin has been around much longer
