hi all

am booking a week in borovets in the Samakov Hotel and wondered what its like

also, do i pre-book my gear before i arrive via the travel agent , have been advised to do so as its cheaper ?

samokov was a russian government building converted to a hotel but its really nice inside with a swimmingpool bowling alley internet cafe so its niceSmile

I know its still govt owned though not by the russians! but a converted building ?? new one on me, always been a hotel from when it was built as far as im aware and thats back before 85

Always pre book your equipment and pass as it will cost at least double when you get there.
