re: hotel bor

I didn't stay there but we dropped people off there. It is about a 10 minute walk to the gondola and the centre of the town. I did meet some people who did stay there who often took one of the horse drawn 'cabs' to and from the hotel.

Hi,
we didnt stay at the Bor, but the sister hotel Edelwiess-I went in the Bor and they were very similar. The hotel was warm clean and friendly-and the rooms were a good size. The hotel is about a 5-10 minute easy walk from the centre, a cab costs 10 levs. If you do walk take a torch for the evening-handy for walking back! Recommend the Happy Duck as a half way point for food or Beer. Have a good holiday.

re: hotel bor

Just returned. We thought it was good. In our party of 8, we had 6 aged 17 to 20. The rooms have been recently refurb. Clean and tidy and staff helpful. You can change your £s for Lev at the hotel, they offer as good a rate as the banks and comm free. Breakfast consisted of cooked, cereals, toast and sweet cakes. We thought OK, but maybe a little on the cool side. Main meal in evening adequate. We didn't go hungry.

We liked the hotel as it was away from the centre but within easy walking distance

About a 10 min walk to the centre. Take the horse and cart from outside the front of the hotel 10 lev to the centre.

The girls liked Franco's bar, this is where their board instructor frequented. Try Joy's just outside the gondala for a good pizza. Very Happy
