Hi JeffYes stopped there 1st week of Jan this year with my family,rooms a little old fashioned but clean and comfy, excellent powerful shower.
Food was OK, mixture of stews and variuos meat dishes, breakfasts ok but not like a good old fashioned English.
Now the most important bit
The bar - open log fire and happy hour from 9-12.00.
Location only 2 mins from the Gondola and bars.
Overall a reasonable hotel, just watch the steps for ice.

greetings to the bar guys from me, nice blokes. the hotel is okay, as gary told you. Stayed there for 17 days in last november/december and in january also.
Clean and warm rooms, with cable tvs but without fridges.
Stuff is really friendly and the eating is okay, try the Snackbar Elite at the Gondola for a short break, really typical bulgarian style drinks and food.
