any one got any reports on the hotel lion in bansko

welcome to the board.

Stayed at lion 2yrs ago, very nice hotel 5-10 min walk to gondola or they have 2 courtesy minibuses starting at 0800hrs until 1800yhrs. I'll share my secret with you be the first on the bus and get up the gondola station early not much queing then.
Hope your not booked for half term weeks.

10 min walk down to old town very good facilties and entertainment.

haha i do realise it's going to be packed.. but being a teacher thats the only time i can get!

yep 8.00 o'clock.
We like to get out early beat the ski schools then by 11.30 ish lunch cos ski schools have lunch 12 ish so we have clear ish slopes for 2 hrs .

Apre is second choice

Life's a bummer but look at all those holidays you get.

Sorry had to get that one in, close friend of mine is a teacher same problem too many holidays.

nice hotel
but if u are a beer drinker check the hotel across the prices were twice cheaper as in lion
So we stay in hotel lion and went to drink beer at perun hotel.
just check it

Yep - stayed there also 2 years back and could not fault the hotel at all.
