hotel lion

hi all,

i have been pricing up some hols for 4th feb next yr and have been looking at bansko and the hotel lion, would anyone be able to tell me if firstly is this a nice hotel/centrally located etc.. and secondly is this a good time to visit bansko ie no school hols or competitons. if anyone can reccommend a better hotel i would apprecite any suggestions.

Lion is a fabulous hotel - stayed there a few years back and couldn't fault it. Not centrally located - about a 10 minute walk to the Gondola but the hotel runs a free shuttle service to and from the lifts. Same time distance from the centre in the evenings but you need to walk it.

Agree with Pete totally on your selection Lisa. dbut and I stayed here some years ago could not fault it.
