hotel mankony

can anyone give a run down on hotel mankony staying there 14th feb. alot has been said about the food in bulgaria as l have never been before, would like to know if the teens will eat at all

Markony is a great family run place with just a handful of rooms. Food is fine--almost made to order. Have stayed there many times--if you like a nice quiet hotel right by the slopes you can't beat it. Roughly 3* accommodation--all that you need really.

The Markony bar has a really great feel to it. Staff are great, really friendly and when I was there last week they really made an effort with some guests who were with their kids. Prices aren't too bad either.

have been for the last 4 years a great hotel on the quiet side after the apres ski crowd gone but we liked that made our own fun in the bar. the food is great as benson said if you ask they will try to cook you what you want my son lived on pizzas and omelettes , and on your last night they do a bulgarian feast it is worth having. not going this year say hi from simon to andy and karen and their kids they are there again this year
