hotel mura

could anyone tell me what the hotel mura is like in bansko,such as cleanliness,food,apres ski if any ,location to the slopes.

I think it's going to be a bloody long walk up to the gondola in the mornings.

the mura isnt to far away from gondola, next door to the the happy duck so only two minute walk to gondola folks. the biggest problem is the ski school is opposit the rila so hike first thing in morning for gear. time to clear hangover

The Mura was great last year, its got a good bar area with a 'cocktail of the day' offer buy one get one free,
the rooms are pretty big, clean and tidy, the grub was typical Bulgarian grub, buffet style, not fantastic but usually some thing on there you like.
We where there for the new year gala dinner, it was a riot, we had a great time.
We are doing the opposite to you we are in the Ela this year - what was that like?

Hotel is nice, rooms a good size but the food is not good. Only about 100m to gondola

The hotel Ela was good.The rooms were clean and tidy and the staff were pleasant. The food was as you expect in Bulgarian hotels but we always managed to find plenty to eat.Bar area was nice and always seemed to have people in it.
