hotel olymp

has anyone stayed in the hotel olymp in borovets, is so do they exchange travelers cheques there?

Do not take travellers cheques is the general advice as the commission is usually very high. Tour operators used to advise this in the brochures. Take clean sterling notes (not Scottish) and lock in a safety deposit box. Alternatively use the cash point - rates usually better. Exchange notes at Hotel reception or at an official exchange booth.
