okay folks lets have it would you prefer to stay in a hotel or appartment.
my view is hotel food is rubbish so your paying the extra money to sleep or use facilities but lets look at what appartments have to offer flexibility to eat out, pick your location in bansko were you want to stay.most appartments have pools, solariums, steam rooms, bigger developments have pubs resturants, gymnasiums, within a complex. the only down side is that you may have to arrange flights and transport ...

I'm for apartments myself. There are some beautiful pads in Bansko.re: hotel or appartment
Alternatively try the apart-hotels for the best of both worlds. Just returned from a few days at the 4* Tamplier in Bansko and thoroughly recommend it. Self catering or room service... the choice is yours!Regards

Depends on what deal you can getWe went to the Evridika last new year on h/b expecting having to eat out as it was such a cheap deal we expected poor quality
Pleasantly surprised , ate out once for a change of scenery, but usually you are so tired it was nice just to wander down to hotel restaraunt and eat, also if others in ski school are in same hotel it is really sociable

I'm for apartments too but might be slightly biased as we have some in the Flora in Borovets.Apartments generally work out cheaper and all you need to organise is your flight as transfers and ski hire etc can be arranged by the apartment owner in advance.

It wasn't meant to be advertising. I was just expressing my opinion about apartments in Borovets.to be fair though I will take the .com out as that is a bit cheeky maybe
