Marie, Yes I went in Dec. I think the general rule is if you're in a couple or only want 1 room, you might be ok. If not, be prepared to not get all the rooms you asked for, at least until the 2nd/3rd night. Get to breakfast early and that way you'll have no problem getting on the ski bus (and get some extra practice on before classes start). Aim to get to dinner about 7.30 as you probably won't have to queue by that time. I wouldn't rate this hotel AT ALL, and the only people who seem to ...

Aim to get to dinner about 7.30 as you probably won't have to queue by that time. I wouldn't rate this hotel AT ALL, and the only people who seem to commend it are those who went in past years or those who think the complainers expect too much. I go to Greece regulalry, so I never expect too much!!!! Just polite staff and clean functionable rooms, I don't think that's too much to ask.
But most of all, DON'T WORRY, because despite the hotel, we still had the best holiday of our lives and would def go back to Pamps.
(If you're REALLY not happy, your rep should be able to arrange to move you to another hotel so bear that in mind, they know the score this far into the season).
i loved that hotel, going on the 18th-25th, its 5 star, if you think that is bad go to a 2 star hotel. you wont be in it much anyway, as you said the slopes are great aswel as te nightlife, bowling etc.
I heard the two star hotels were not much different, but without the leisure facilities (which we paid for but didn't get a chance to use anyway cos we were skiing all day). I would've settled for a smiling helpful receptionist rather than a sauna and swimming pool I never needed to use.
