We stayed there a couple of years ago, and we are going back next week. The hotel is well located..as above, and it's clean. The food was buffet-style last time and I'm pretty sure it will be the same now. Again, that was pretty good, and was what I would expect really. Overall, excellent value for money and a good base for an excellent holiday.re: hotel rila borovets

Stayed at the Rila last March.Much better than expected.Prices at the lobby bar vary depending on who serves you.My advice is order your drinks at the bar. You will have a great time. Enjoy !!

Just got back from the Rila. Hotel was ok, food was not exceptional but was ok, breakfast was good. locality of the hotel was excellant. Hotel bar not brilliant, but loads of others to choose from. I went to the crown quite a lot very entertaining and free drinks, food was excellant their. Found by small drag lift in front of the Rila. Another good place to eat is the black cat. I was not impressed with the food in golden chicken. Be carefull on the bulgarian night, the local brew, Raiki ( ...
