hotel yanakiev-borovets

Arrived back yesterday from a week in Borovets staying at the hotel Yanakiev. The hotel is fantastic, very warm,clean and located next to a nursery slope.The food was ok but only luke warm. Staff at the hotel not pro english and the female pool attendant very grumpy towards our children( kids not allowed to have fun in pool Overall fantastic holiday will be going back next year.Borosports ski school was fantastic especially Alex and Bobby!!By the way if you are going this week there is ...

pleased to hear you had a good time and that the hotel is nice, cant wait to get there next jan now. did the hotel allow you to keep your ski equipment in their storage room even if you dont use their equipment cos we are hiring ours along with our ski school with borosports ?

Hi Deb, You can take take your ski equipment back to the hotel and use their storage but they will charge you 5 lev per person a day so we left it at the ski school . This was fine because it saved carrying down to the gondula each day . Borosports ski school are very good and we met our instructor at the gondula every morning.

Hi Rachel, Is the hotel ski in and ski out, it looks like it is but what type of run is it to and from the hotel?

The run to the hotel is a blue/green but you can link in to it from half way down many of the ski runs serviced by the 4 man near the Rila and so ski into it at the end of the day if you are using these slopes
