Hi,Just wondering if anyone has any past experiences of the Hotel Zodiac in Borovets, also where is the best place to pre-book your ski passes.
Heading out on the 5th, hope there will still be snow around!!!!

Judith's right about the distance but there is a free ski bus every 30mins in the morning and in the evening, get in the Queue 5 mins early it's nearly always full! Taxi's are only 10levs (Approx £3). It's only 5 mins away from the gondola by bus.
We stayed in the hotel itself last week after having to move from the Malina Village Chalets due to a cold chalet and no water!!
We got offered to move to the Zodiac, went to have a look and ripped their arm off! It's just had a refurb, and ...

It's an averaged sized hotel (about 50 rooms), nicely furnished quite similar to a Premier Lodge. It's really warm and quite powerful, hot showers. The rooms have telephone and cable TV, and room service is cheap!
Bar is also cheap, with bottles of Tuborg only costing 2levs(70p)!!
If you know Borovets, I'd rate it one of the best hotels in Borovets after the Rila and the Samokov, and the only reason it's relatively cheap and available is that the refurb wasn't finished early enough to get it in the brochure.
