does anyone know what the hotel tanne is like in bansko how far from the slopes and also same question for the lion in borovets

tanne is about 5 minutes walk from the slopese, Terry Thomson the Thomson rep in bansko last year said it was his favorite hotel if that is anything to by, it will probably have a mini bus service to and from the slopes most if not all the hotels in bansko have this service but its not far to walk if you miss the bus

Tanne is a ten minute walk to the gondola (in normal shoes, not boots), which will take another 30 mins to get you to the bottom of the slopes. After you've made it through the 1.5 hour scrum.

I have been to bansko just never saw this hotel, found you missed the scrum if you are there around 8.30, thanks for that though, Havent been to borovets though and was wondering about the lion?

Tanne is literally just around the corner from where we stay - looks good on the outside. I walked in ski boots under 10 min to the gondola from there. 12 minutes if you count stopping for donuts.

And never once had to wait more than 2 minutes for the gondola at the base station, then its a pleasant 20 minute cruise up the hill.

the lion is about a ten minute slightly uphill walk to lifts, bars etc..but they do have a minibus to shuttle you up and down.
