has anyone stayed at the victoria hotel i know its a way out of resort i usually stay in resort but they have a good deal for the 21st jan can you walk to lifts from it or is it too far

I would say its quite a walk to the lifts 10 to 15 mins but the hotel will provide some sort of transport to resort

Taxi is best... the shuttle bus has been unreliable from Hotel Victoria as I found out 2 years ago, it could have improved... friends stayed there and had to catch taxi 4 out of the 6 days...Taxi is cheap so don't worry...
I am presuming its Borovets!!!!

Hi Russell,The victoria is actually a 20minute walk to the resort uphill and 15minutes walk back downhill. They run a shuttle bus throughout the day starting first thing in the morning. If you want a late night, the shuttle won't be running but the walk back after a couple of drinks is fine!! Alternatively a taxi is 10 to 15lev if you don't fancy the walk.

I stayed there 2 years ago hotel itself was nice friendly place decent enough food. Not really a problem walking to and from lifts takes 15 mins in a straight line and 20 walking on the road ~(not in ski boots etc). However I did get slightly annoyed at it when i walked down in the early hours and then decided to walk back coz I hadnt quite finished......
Since then have stayed in resort usually paying an extra £30 a week which in my opinion if you stay out late is well worth it. ...

We are going out and staying at the Hotel Victoria on Sunday (8th Jan 2012). Will pop back in when we get back and update on the shuttle bus etc.
