how do the gradings compare

i am just re wording my earlier question. i have boarded in europe for the last 5 years and was just wondering if the colour of the runs in borovets are pretty much the same as elsewhere cos i have heard that the runs are easier here than for example france and andorra

hi will,you will find that a black run in boro is more like a good red in france
in fact it is all alot easier than france.
dont let it put you off because u will still have a great time.

I did many Swiss resorts and was in Bansko on the New Year's Eve and found Bansko a hard station for an intermediate skier like me. Blues were red, red were black, and the Tomba black run I did not make it. Some blues were hard blues. I do not know Borovetz, but for Bansko you need to be a good skier otherwise you don't enjoy it. I liked Bansko very very much!
