how does that work?

after the 2 days of snow on tuesday+ wednesday, the symbol then turns to rain, yet the temp drops to -6. how can it rain when it is that cold?????

All the weather forecasts are for the relevant towns/ resorts/villages. However up the mountain they are usually attached to precipitation falls as snow
