how long does season last?

we are thinking about bookiing iglika villas for first week in april - the is the last week of the season - do you think this is sensible - anyone know how long the snow lasts?

Last season Bansko officially shut on the 16th April and was the last of the 3 resorts to shut. We popped for the last week in March and it was great with loads of snow and very warm conditions.

Sorry. Didn't read your post properly. Booking for the first week in april is like booking before christmas. Chances are you will be able to ski but you won't know what the snow is going to be like until closer to the time.
It's also worth considering that at that time of the season you can get some great last minute deals and there are plenty that time of the year. If you book now you will pay more.

of course if you look on the web cam it shows you there was plenty of snow last year in the first week of april but you are always better to book earlier on if you are looking for 100% re asurance of good snow
