My boyfriend and I are thinking of coming to borovets in half term. We were thinking of skiing for just 4 days as it will mean the flights home are a bit cheaper and we get some time at home before back to school.
Looking at the ski packages they seem to be either 3 days or 6 days. Is it possible to ski for 4 days instead.
Also we are looking for a luxury hotel in centre of resort. Any recommendations?
Thank u.
Alice
Alice, 4 days is fine. leave a message for Kas and Bobby on the discussion board as Bobby is an instructor and can sort you out 4 days lessons etc and he is a really good guy. Also if this is your first time skiing you will find 4 days will bne more than enough and you will be knackered but good knackered. I should mention my 6 year old learned to ski in his ski school. Oh Borovets lux hotels not really. Stay at the Rila its a good hotel but remember you are going to Borovets not Valdesare ...

re: how many days to ski for?
i've stayed at the flora, alpin, rila and ice angels. the ice angels is by far the nearest to a de lux hotel of that bunch.apart from the food.the best for food is the alpin.the flora is close to the gondola[and bobby's]. but the others are at the bottom of the rila slopes. steve.g
Personally, I'd take a slight hit on the hotel to offset the more expensive flights and have an extra 2 days on the slopes! I think the Moura is a clean, tidy, fairly modern hotel, with good deals going on it as long as you dont mind a 5 minute walk to the gondola.
The best hotels for your spec are: Yanakiev, Fiesta Winter Palace and the Lodge.
In terms of 4 days instructing / package it is fine and it depends on the day you arrive as to whether or not you buy individually or a 3 day and a 1 day pass/ pack.
If you need any help., send me an email and I will try my best!

re: how many days to ski for?
sorry kas , the yanakiev is in a great spot for the slopes, and not too far to the bars . the winter palace looks beautiful but i cant see beginners skiing back to the winter palace anytime soon and i think i saw the lodge once when i went for a very long walk when there was no snow. i still maintain that the ice angels[and rila] is skiable back to at any level and both in a good central location for bars and slopes. steve .g . dont mean to upset anyone but ive been to borovets about 10 times ...

Hi Kas,
We are staying at the Rila so we want to get our skis etc from there. Do you deal with their depot? We will be skiing from Sun 17th Feb to Wed 20th Feb.
I have left it a bit late to book so I think I need to get this sorted ASAP!

re: how many days to ski for?
this site normally deals with borosport which has depots in the hotel and just out the front.just confirm with bulgaria ski when you book. steve.g PS there are other sites that deal with borosport which may or not be cheaper.
