on average how many pairs of shoes shud i take? cos obviously trainners times two , and then i was gonna take boots to go with my skirt, then i have fluffy boots that go with trousers or skirts, then maybe some stilletos for use in own hotel only, obviously not to walk outside in? watcha think ?xx
Katherin you need maximum of 3 pairs of shoes, without you skiing boots. Some for walking out in resort, some nicer ones for Bar or Disco and some basic, warm boots for the hotel, it will be worse if you break your ancle in the Lobby Bar, while wearing stilletos.
Its a ski holiday not a fashion parade. The main thing is to have shoes and/or boots that are warm, comfortable and have soles with good grip. I am taking 2 pairs of boots only plus ski boots of course.
Personally id take all the shoes you can possibly carry. Sacrafice other items of clothing so that you have shoes for every occasion; eating shoes, going to the shops shoes, showering shoes, taxi shoes, dancing shoes, afternoon nap shoes, shoe shopping shoes, breakfast shoes, falling over shoes, airplane shoes, customs shoes etc....
I took one pair of walking shoes/trainers. It's a waste of weight and space taking more. They were comfy, grippy and most importantly waterproof. I spent most of the time wearing snowboard boots afterall. I did see some people venturing outside in trainers but they soon get wet and you're liable to slip over. I still felt glamourous in bars and clubs!
