how much dosh for a week???

love this site - so much info from everyone! How much do u reckon we need for a week in pamps, goin on the 10th - 2 adultswho like the odd drink or 4 & 1 13 yr old. If we take levs out there can we change them on return??

Take some Levs out but really you can exchange sterling over there as long as it is clean and crisp no tears. You will get a better rate Alaska supermarket good rate. for two of us we take around £500 and we party and eat out

It annoys me to admit it but they dont accept scottish notes so only take freshly printed fa£e english ones, madness !!! you wont take my notes and will never take my freedom...he he,, its really cheap but always check the prices first as some people are less honest than others, but still not expensive

Depends on how much you drink and what you drink. Allow 20lev, £8 for lunch and about £2 per drink and you can't go far wrong. £200 - £300 did me for the week and I brought home change. Bring Bank of England notes not torn or written on. Hotel Perelik reception was giving best rate last week at 2.8 lev to the £

Hi--even better--if you have time (or already have one)--Nationwide BS Flexaccount card--no charges and current rate from an ATM about 2.95. Take some ready cash as well to be on the safe side just incase the ATMs are empty(you can always stick it back in the bank when you get home).
